On the Southern coast, 48 Km to the east of Cagliari, next to Capo Carbonara.
Natural location: on the beach.

HOW TO GET THERE
By plane: Cagliari airport of Elmas (54 km).
By ferry: Cagliari harbour (48 km).
By car: from Cagliari, provincial road towards Villasimius.
Transfer: on request and on payment it is possible to arrange a transfer from /to the airport by car, minibus or coach.

Campania – die Region an der Westküste von Italien wird nordwestlich von Latium, nordöstlich von  Molise, östlich von Apulien, südöstlich von der Basilikata und vom Tyrrheinischen Meer begrenzt. Hauptstadt dieser einzigartigen Region ist das pulsierende Neapel oder besser gesagt Napoli, das nicht nur wegen seiner unmittelbaren Nachbarschaft zum Vesuv ein heißes Pflaster ist… aber auch schon Helden wie Odysseus oder Caruso in Verzückung versetzt hat. Kampanien besteht aus 5 Provinzen: Avellino, Benevento, Caserta, Neapel und last but not least Salerno. Der Präsident der Regione Campania ist Antonio Bassolino, der sich um die Geschicke der 13.595 km² großen und vielseitigen Region bemüht. Die rund 5,8 Millionen Einwohner konzentrieren sich größtenteils im Ballungsgebiet von Neapel. Damit ist Kampanien die am dichtesten besiedelte Region Italiens, und nur in der Lombardei leben mehr Menschen als hier.

Auf Einladung der Italienischen Handelskammer für Deutschland e.V.  (Berlin; www.itkam.de) und dank der Unterstützung des sehr engagierten Regionalratsabgeordneten DONATO PICA (in Zusammenarbeit mit den Herren Troiano in seiner Funktion als Vorsitzendem des Nationalparks Cilento und Vallo di Diano sowie Michele Albanese von der Banca di Credito Cooperativo von Monte Pruno di Roscigno und Raffaele Accetta als Vorsitzendem der Comunità Vallo di Diano und viele fleißigen Helfern) konnte sich in der Zeit vom 27. bis 30. September eine 7-köpfige Presse- und Unternehmerdelegation aus dem gesamten Bundesgebiet von der Vielseitigkeit und dem ungeheuren Potential der „grünen Region“ Kampanien vor Ort überzeugen. Denn schon die Römer gaben der fruchtbaren Landschaft ihren Namen: Campania felix (glückliche Landschaft). Ein Name also, den sich Kampanien mit der historischen Landschaft Champagne in Frankreich teilt.
